Well, my experiment with tracking my commuting habits in 2011 is over.
In short, I managed to drive to work less than once a month, which is better than I expected. I biked/ran/bussed about equallly, and walked home (about 50 minutes) slightly more than once a month.
I’m not sure that tracking my commuting stats changed my behaviour; I’ve long found that combining exercise with commuting is an ideal use of time, and it’s an entrenched part of my lifestyle. I won’t track any further, but don’t expect much of a change in 2012.
